Reactive Dog Training

Madison's Most In-depth Dog Reactivity Training Program!

5/5

What to Expect

This in-depth reactive dog training program is the only one of its kind, helping you break down your dog’s behavior, understand why it’s happening, and stop it once and for all.

It’s not just about training dogs – it’s about training people, too! This six-week day training program includes 7 hours of one-on-one time with your trainer, setting your entire family up for long-term success.

You will learn:

  • Why your dog is reactive and how to stop it
  • How to walk your dog calmly on leash
  • How to practice impulse control and staying calm around distractions
  • How to get your dog to come when called
  • How your energy and confidence can impact your dog’s behaviors
  • How to get your dog to sit, lie down, and stay on command
  • Safe driving: get your dog to relax and remain calm in the car
  • How to build up both your and your dog’s confidence to go on adventures together

This program is for dogs 6 months of age and older.

For dogs younger than 6 months, please see our puppy school or puppy training options.

Your dog will learn in a fun and safe environment with our team of professional trainers. In addition to addressing reactivity and stopping any unwanted behaviors, your dog will learn five skills that you can use in your home or out in the community: come, place, sit, down, and heel.

  • Six weeks of training in our day training program, Monday-Thursday (that’s 24 days of training!)
  • Your dog will work, play, and rest alongside all of our other training dogs!
  • 7 hours of private one-on-one training with you and your trainer
  • Supervised playtime / socialization
  • Learn how to stop your dog’s reactivity and build your confidence alongside our professional trainers
